Question: Can I bring more than "ONE" guest?
We kindly ask that each invited guest bring only "ONE" person based on availability.
Question: Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception are adults-only to keep the celebration intimate.
Question: Are there specific colors or themes?
We request that guests wear sand and tan tones to complement our beach destination aesthetic. Think elevated beachwear—lightweight fabrics, breathable linens, and relaxed-yet-polished silhouettes. For the ceremony and reception, semi-formal attire is preferred (dresses, dressy jumpsuits, collared shirts and tailored trousers). For the welcome party, embrace “beach chic” with slightly more casual, seaside-friendly looks.
Practical notes:
- The wedding is in Cancún—lightweight fabrics and sun protection are recommended.
- The ceremony/reception are off the beach; please choose dressy shoes suitable for sand and uneven surfaces.
Question: Are there room blocks or special rates?
Yes — we’ve negotiated a special discounted rate for our guests. Please book through the link on this site to access the discount and ensure your reservation is counted toward our arrangements.
Question: Where are we staying?
We’ll be celebrating at:
Royalton CHIC Cancun
An adults-only, all-inclusive resort located right in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone.
Think: rooftop cabanas, beach views, great food, and a fun, energetic atmosphere.
Question: What’s included at the resort?
Your stay includes:
Unlimited food + drinks (yes, really)
9 restaurants + 6 bars
4 pools + 1 jacuzzi
Beach access with loungers
Daily entertainment + nightlife
Fitness center
Additional services like the spa are available for an extra cost.
Question: Is this an adults-only resort?
Yes!
This is an adults-only resort, so expect a lively, social, and elevated atmosphere throughout your stay.
Question: When should I arrive and depart?
We recommend:
Arriving at least 1 day before wedding events begin
Departing the day after (or staying longer if you want a full vacation)
This gives you time to settle in, relax, and not feel rushed.
Question: How far is the resort from the airport?
The resort is about 20–25 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN), depending on traffic.
We recommend arranging transportation in advance or using a trusted shuttle service.
Question: What should I pack?
Think: beachy + chic
Lightweight outfits
Swimsuits (plural… you’ll want options)
Sandals + comfortable shoes
Sunglasses + sunscreen
Dinner outfits (some restaurants have dress codes)
For wedding events, details will be shared separately.
Question: Are there dress codes at the resort?
Yes, for some restaurants:
Casual during the day (swimwear, cover-ups, etc.)
Evening dining may require:
Collared shirts for men
No flip-flops in certain venues
Resort chic attire
When in doubt, slightly dress it up at night.
Question: Can I leave the resort?
Absolutely.
The resort is located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, which means you’re close to:
Restaurants
Shopping
Nightlife
Excursions
That said, everything you need is also right on property.
Question: Do I need cash?
Yes—small amounts are helpful.
While most things are included, you may want cash for:
Tips
Transportation
Off-resort purchases
USD is widely accepted, but pesos are also useful.
Question: What’s the best way to stay connected during the trip?
International phone plans OR
WiFi-based apps (iMessage, WhatsApp, etc.)
We’ll also share any important updates closer to the wedding.
Question: What if I want to make this a longer trip?
Do it. Seriously.
Cancun is the perfect place to turn this into a full vacation. Whether that means:
Extra pool days
Exploring ruins
Booking excursions
Or just doing absolutely nothing
We fully support it.
Question: Most Important Question…
Are we going to have an amazing time?
Yes. No notes. 10/10.
We’re just really excited to celebrate with you in one of our favorite places 🤍
